What is your biggest achievement in life/at Goldsmiths?
Goldsmiths is such a wonderful place; if you work hard, it offers an endless stream of opportunities to you –both academically and in terms of industry.
The theory-teaching here is phenomenal, and pushed me to get grades high enough to secure a scholarship at Cambridge for a Masters (and perhaps PhD too?!). In terms of industry work experience, the Radio Department trained me to a standard where I have been able to produce a BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra Documentary, and now upon graduating work full time between the BBC and the Radio Academy.
Life is what you make of it here at Goldsmiths, I’m very grateful for the opportunities that have been offered, and proud that I’ve turned them into such wonderful achievements.
Who has been your Goldsmiths idol?
Without sounding like a bean, the amazing teachers – especially the female lecturers. Learning from such self-assured, intelligent and kind women has been so valuable. Not just idols, role models – who I have and will continue to take leaves from their books!
What do you think aliens think of humanity?
Put it this way – there’s a reason why they haven’t popped over to say ‘hello’.
1 word: Trump.
