My House is made to be a playground for children in a book. The project is composed of stickers, background and a colouring page. Children can decorate their own house and stories with stickers. In the book there are different locations (living room, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom etc.) on different pages with different stickers depending on place. The colour and painting style is inspired by impressionism. I used pastel colours as back- ground and used vivid colors to contrast with the background color. When children put stickers and coloring on the background pages, children can learn what is the essential composition of each room. And with their parents, they can also make their own personally designed house. The book is a playground that is altered through their imagination.
