Throughout my years of practicing photography, I have consistently returned to themes of family, relationships, and the profound ways they shape our lives. My father has been a central figure in my own journey, influencing the person I am today. This project serves as both a tribute to him and an exploration of his own path, one filled with adventure and resilience.

Raised in a rural Irish village with strict Catholic values, my father’s life took a turn when he moved to London at eighteen in search of new opportunities and experiences. Through countless stories, he’s crafted a life and a sense of home far from where he started. ‘Home at Last’ is a creative reflection on his journey, the bonds of family, and the world he’s built for himself, the home he now cherishes and calls his own. This project combines archives, interviews, and a collection of photographs.
