The Dinner Party

‘The Dinner Party' is a humorous and relatable take on the art of pretending everything is fine. Digitally drawn, mimicking fine liners and watercolour, my animation follows the girlie chaos of hosting the perfect dinner party, witnessing the intricate dance of cooking, prepping, and pretending everything is under control, familiar forced pleasantries, too much wine, and awkward conversation. As the evening's highbrow nonsense unfolds, we see the host's internal struggle between being the perfect entertainer and just wanting a quiet moment alone.
