The Scrap Men of the Apocalypse

The Scrap Men of the Apocalypse' is a 2:30 minute animation made in both digital animation and stop motion. In a world destroyed by the naivety and selfishness of mankind there are two survivors, who due to their lifestyle choices and lack of cognitive function haven't addressed their fate, and are carrying on their debaucherous ways of life as if nothing had changed, until one day one them finally questions how the world had succumbed to its current state. The other man proceeds to briefly explain the steps leading to the collapse of humanity, detailing: greed, over reliance on technology, nationalist ideologies, and several more reasons. The detailed explanation is woven through a sequence of digital animation, though the characters proceed to carry on as normal, post explanation. The narrative is satirical, and the overall product is intended to be a laugh, though detailing a lot of contemporary fears faced by our generation.
