Breaking the Cocoon

This stop-motion animation tells the story of a pink-haired girl in a pink dress who escapes the city’s pressures. Swept away by rain into a mysterious world, she faces chains, cages, and invisible barriers trying to trap her. Yet, with unwavering determination, she breaks free repeatedly, refusing to be confined. Her journey is challenging, but she pushes through each obstacle, growing stronger with every breakthrough. Ultimately, she reaches a dazzling rainbow, symbolising freedom and transformation. The film uses visual metaphors to depict overcoming societal and self-imposed limits—like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, embracing a new beginning.
