NW is where I have grown up and is the inspiration for this project. I wanted to explore themes of nostalgia and the feeling of what home is and family. Growing up, my family were big on photography and capturing even the mundane moments in life, which in years can become something nostalgic to look back on.

I take a lot of inspiration from the women in my life and the strength they exhibit, which can be applied to my project. When creating this project, I have attempted to create it from the point of view of a young woman growing up in London. I have attempted to capture how I see youth from my perspective, as I feel as a young person, these years are where you can explore and experience life and be free. My project can be viewed by the youth as something relatable while simultaneously being viewed by older generations as something reminiscent.
