Let Go

Let Go is an emotionally-provoking screenplay set in London, a few decades from contemporary times. Edith’s Dad, Charles, has created a company called Grief Regulations, where those who have recently passed away can be plugged into a computer system in order to carry on living, but it is only their heads that remain. However, the system is failing, as demonstrated by Edith’s mother, who was the prototype for the first post-death human life form. Edith’s girlfriend Nancy is working on a chip that could save the organisation, but she gets into a major train crash and dies. What will happen to the system after she dies? Are they going to plug her into the computer? What is Charles going to do about his malfunctioning wife?
