Rock Rundown - The Jimi Hendrix Special:
‘Rock Rundown’ is a stop-motion parody of classic 80’s Talk Shows. Set in a parallel universe where anthropomorphised objects can talk, the characters are instruments which behave like the humans who owned them. Each new episode sees iconic items, associated with some of rock’s most famous artists and bands, interviewed in the studio. The programme is a comedy, aimed at fans of music history and classic rock and playing on the cliche’s of traditional music television, as well as paying homage to the likes of ‘This is Spinal Tap’.
The name of this episode is, ‘The Jimi Hendrix Special’. Our guests are the three main components of Jimi’s iconic guitar rig. “Fender”, an electric guitar, “Marshall”, an amplifier and “Crybaby”, a wah-wah pedal. They exchange stories with the host, a microphone named “Mike”, and banter about touring with Hendrix.
