Where are you From?

This project speaks about the uncomfortable space between two conflicting cultures and struggling to find solace in one culture despite the strong connections I have with my own ethnic culture. 'Where are you From?' is a question that often leaves a bitter taste in my mouth as it separates me from the place that I long to call home, leaving me almost begging to be accepted by forcing myself to rid my British identity. Although this project started off being a cry for help and showing the world the struggles of being British-Born Chinese, I eventually found therapy through the process and has begun accepting my unique background.
