Rabbit Hole

“Rabbit Hole” is a visual journey of my identity exploration in London as a queer third culture individual. It is a collection loosely based on anecdotes, and follows the adventures of my rabbit persona as she navigates the highs and lows of solo living in a country that is not her own. The comic is ultimately about breakthroughs in queer self-expression, about experiencing the hardships of young adulthood, and about grappling with the different sets of cultural values surrounding one’s psyche. The audience is invited to follow the rabbit into a spiral as she hops frantically between friends, lovers, and family, experiencing a whirlwind of mixed emotions within a strange bustling city.
