This interview series explores the way that people's presence's exist in inanimate objects and reflects on the complex relationships we hold with possessions.

The objects we keep from experiences that we share can create a tangible memory, encapsulating our history and the people who have come and gone.

Our interviewees reflect on this, each discussing an object they have in their possession that reminds them of someone not physically present in their life anymore (whether that be because of death, fall out, break up, distance, etc.).

On the surface, this is a simple study of people’s relationship to objects and a discussion of memory and material. But the film is really exploring the emotional/sentimental role of tangible things in our lives and their existence as representative of people and pasts. By extension, the film presents ideas and approaches to grief, loss and emotion that emphasize the use of the tangible.
