HEAR ME OUT is a digital platform aiming at exploring the relationship between deaf culture and music. Starting from the idea that very little is known about deaf culture, I decided to explore and portray the differ- ent ways through which deaf and hard-of- hearing people can feel and experience sonic and auditory practices. After recounting the stories of many deaf music-lovers eager for more music initiatives catered for them, I designed a platform that would give them the chance to not only see what gigs offer BSL-support around London, but also request this support for other upcoming concerts.

Lastly, through an interactive mosaic depicting different social situations that could cause distress to a person with hearing impairments, I offer the viewers a brief and intense introduction to the world of British Sign

Language (BSL) - something that could help them make an new or unexpected friend at a gig.
