“'The List' is a videographic response to a note left behind on a table, with no further context other than being found in a bar. This piece of paper, which could've served any purpose from being vague discussion topics, some form of to do list, or just jokes amongst friends; became incredibly sentimental to me due to its nonsensical nature. I saw it fit to use the list as a series of photographic prompts, combining specific headings and compiling different mediums (e.g. video, photograph, text, sound), to form a series of responses to the 'headings' of the list. I will never know if it was the writer's intention for the list to be left behind but I will be forever grateful that it was, and I hope that a digital explanation offers a further basis for the observer to feel a similar connection to the list as I do.”
