The List is a videographic response to a note left behind on a table, with no further context other than being found in a bar. This piece of paper, which could've served any purpose from being vague discussion topics, some form of to-do list, or just jokes amongst friends; became incredibly sentimental to me due to its nonsensical nature. I saw fit to use the list as a series of photographic prompts, combining specific headings and compiling different mediums (e.g., video, photograph, text, sound), to form a series of responses to the 'headings' on the list. I will never know if it was the writer's intention for the list to be left behind but I will be forever grateful that it was. I hope that a digital explanation offers a basis for the observer to feel a connection to the list as I do.
