Every Letter I Sent You.

This piece is a reinterpretation of the debut LP cover for Baek Yerin, a Korean singer-songwriter known for her ethereal voice and raw emotional honesty. Her album, Every letter I sent you., is a profound archive of her youth—a collection of letters written between the ages of 19 and 23 that she once kept hidden from the world. To me, these songs were more than music; they were a sanctuary. I first encountered them when I left home to start my own life, navigating a world shaped by the cold shadows of anxiety and solitude. In that unfamiliar silence, her voice became my "home." Through this work, I wanted to mirror the duality of that time: the resilient shell I built to face the world, and the delicate, fragile self that lived underneath. What began as her unsent letters has now become my own visual confession. I offer this piece to you as a quiet embrace, hoping to pass on the same gentle comfort that once held me together.
