From faded to vivid

This photography project explores the relationship between color saturation and emotion. The images are arranged from low to high saturation, creating a visual progression from calm and quiet to intense and energetic. The photographs were taken across New York, London, and China, using each location’s natural atmosphere to build different levels of color.

In addition to the images, colors are extracted from the photographs and transformed into small circular elements placed between them. These circles guide the viewer through the sequence and strengthen the transition of color.

Together, the images and color elements form a continuous visual path, where color becomes both a narrative structure and an emotional language.
