Living in a world slowly declining due to humans has left me with an overwhelming feeling that I can’t put into words. I have found myself fearing for the future.
The changes I have made to reduce my own carbon footprint have affected who I am. However, these changes don’t appear to help the Earth I live on. Despite the helplessness, I see the beauty in life connecting humans and nature. These feelings of helplessness and action drives my work.
We are not different to the natural world, yet people’s actions have destroyed the planet that provides us with life. By identifying human-like characteristics within nature, my emotions intensified. With nothing left to do, I turned to my camera so I could capture the beauty that unites humanity and the Earth.
